IPv6? Was:Large edu's doing NAT campus wide?

While I won't dispute that NAT does add a layer of security (or at least a speed bump) its primary purpose was to
extend the IPv4 available address pool life. If the main reasons for looking at NAT now is for address space needs,
why not consider IPv6? I am not suggesting this is the correct solution in your case, but rather am putting forth the
question to you and the broader audience which in your opinion is the better solution today for addressing the address
needs at a college or university, NAT or IPv6?

Thanks,
Greg
