Greetings. What packet capture/sniffer tools are folks using? I've been using M$ Network Monitor, which ships with SMS, and it's OK, but always looking for something better. I really don't need trending, etc - just a robust, stable capture tool which allows me to save and also to print as text.
tcpdump/nettl/snoop/pix capture depending on the platform i am on to
gather data.
ethereal to display it. you need a good amount of cpu and ram to be able
to read big captures, you might want to use editcap to do some filtering
if the original capture tool does not allow it.
