FWTK vs T.REX

Hello gurus!!

I have to implement a non-commercial proxy firewall
solution and I've found about FWTK and T.REX. I see
that FWTK is a bit outdated but might do the trick.
T.REX seems much more powerful..

any experiences, advices, ideas?
