Kevin Poulsen on 27B Stroke 6: [snip] [Telnet has] gone virtually unused for years (geeks still use the client to debug TCP services, but only because it's there).
Hmm? I can't help wondering what he thinks geeks would use if telnet weren't there - or, apparently, now that it's not. I certainly don't know of anything else that comes with Windows that'd do. I suspect I'm going to be saying "sorry, that's one of the prices you pay for running Vista" with increasing frequency. :-) /~\ The ASCII der Mouse \ / Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML mouse () rodents montreal qc ca / \ Email! 7D C8 61 52 5D E7 2D 39 4E F1 31 3E E8 B3 27 4B _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
