Declan,

Something of potential interest to Politech regarding the latest
Internet censorship efforts in Australia. The bill in question,
introduced last November, went into debate in the South Australia
Parliament last week -- note, among other things, the bits that give the
police the power to decide what is "objectionable", and particularly the
provision that site hosts can be prosecuted even if they remove the
offending material from their server.
